Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)- Assisted Living Community (Santa Ana)

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate leadership skills. Experience with teaching, retail and customer service management, or strong community service background in addition to your professional nursing experience working in a team environment is highly desired. The LVN role focuses in multiple areas of the assisted living business.

We have an immediate opening for an LVN. Applicant must be professional, experienced (as a nurse and as a manager/leader) and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment. In addition, applicant must be willing to lead in multiple areas of the business that will go beyond just clinical care. This is an ideal position for someone who has a passion for nursing but also is fun, creative and may have come from a varied background including teaching, community service and the arts.

Position Requirements:

Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.

Be in good health and capable, both physically and mentally, of performing all direct care member tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six months prior to or seven days after employment

Practice excellent care documentation and care process skills, including the ability to maintain and update effective care/service plans and to personally provide excellent care 

Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulations and laws.

Must be criminally cleared by DOJ and FBI via the Live-Scan process prior to being present in the community

Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.

Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills (both verbally and in writing)

Demonstrate freedom from pulmonary tuberculosis within seven days of employment
