Regional Human Resources Manager

Our client is a professional services company head quartered in the Bay Area. They are looking for a Regional Human Resources Manager to develop and support HR strategies for their assigned region. This is a full time position with great benefits, schedule flexibility, and competitive compensation.

Regional Human Resources Manager

  • Provide Human Resource generalist support, within assigned region, including the development and/or deployment of HR strategies
  • Build and strengthen the talent pipeline for the future, partnering with recruiting and operations business partners on the attraction, selection and retention of top talent at all levels of the organization
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management 
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve Organizational Health and culture
  • Ensure activities are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws 
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR function to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met
  • Lead, influence and support an employee oriented high performance culture that emphasizes safety and wellness


  • Ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions

  • Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items
  • Ability to influence decision making at all levels of the Organization
  • The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to drive continual improvements

  • Strong analytical ability
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, able to work independently, prioritize and multi-task
  • Must be able to travel to locations throughout assigned region(s)
  • Spanish language fluency preferred


  • Bachelor’ s degree required
  • Master’ s degree or MBA in a Human Resources discipline preferred
  • Human Resources Generalist and/or Organizational Development experience is preferred
