Accounts Payable Clerk

Hayward, CA

Position: Accounting Branch: San Ramon

General Purpose

Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. High volume invoicing. 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
  • Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
  • Enter and upload invoices into system
  • Process expense reports
  • Process manual check requests
  • Prepare and perform check runs
  • Experience processing high volume invoices - 300+/wk
  • Construction industry experience preferred
  • ERP systems experience
