Digital Marketing Content Writer
Job Summary
Utilize strong writing and messaging skills to craft straightforward and actionable website and campaign copy for digital and direct marketing materials.
Responsibilities
- Develop engaging website and campaign content in collaboration with designers, creative agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice across all communications.
- Participate in cross-departmental meetings to understand goals and product benefits.
- Craft compelling, SEO-optimized copy aligned with best practices.
- Create content for webpages, articles, blogs, FAQs, and other communication materials.
- Develop marketing program descriptions outlining strategic goals and initiatives.
- Revise and create materials based on management feedback while meeting deadlines.
- Coordinate and manage high-level strategic projects.
- Stay informed about current and future products to develop accurate and innovative copy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain an up-to-date style guide based on industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant banking and advertising laws in all communications.
- Monitor competitors to inspire future initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- At least five years of experience in creative copy development for digital and print deliverables.
- Experience in leadership or project management within a creative team or agency.
- Proven expertise in financial writing and SEO.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Excellent written communication with high proofreading competency and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to work effectively through ambiguity and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various management levels.
