Details:
- Onsite in Irvine, CA
- Pay rate: $40 - 42/hour
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm
- Temp to hire opportunity

Job Description:
- Oversees the administration of Benefits and Worker's Compensation, collaborating with stakeholders to develop and communicate comprehensive health, welfare, and retirement plans.
- Ensures prompt reporting and documentation of injuries while continuously evaluating programs for cost-saving opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Designs, implements, and manages benefit plans such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401(k), while staying abreast of industry trends and regulations.
- Drives annual open enrollment initiatives across multiple locations, managing day-to-day benefits operations and communications effectively.
- Manages Worker's Compensation and Leave of Absence programs, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements and maintaining a strong partnership with benefits brokers for plan negotiations.
- Provides expert guidance on benefits policies, conducts regular audits for data accuracy, and oversees workers' compensation claims administration.
- Reviews and approves employee leave requests, updates HRIS systems accordingly, and supports employees throughout the leave process.
- Collaborates with organizational development for wellness event planning, maintains meticulous employee files, and ensures timely compliance reporting and invoice processing.
Skills/Experience:
- 6-9 years of Benefits experience
- Extensive experience managing benefits administration for a midsize organization.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations impacting employee benefits, including ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, and COBRA compliance.
- Proficient in MS Excel at an intermediate level, with additional skills in MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Proven self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in project management with meticulous attention to detail.
- Bachelors Degree preferred
