HR Business Partner



Job Summary



The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic and hands-on role that partners with leaders and staff to align human resources programs, policies, and culture with business objectives. This role builds and implements best-practice HR frameworks, supports change management, and drives initiatives that enhance performance, engagement, and achievement of organizational goals.


Responsibilities


  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, including organizational design, talent management, and employee development.

  • Work proactively with leadership to shape business outcomes through effective people strategies.

  • Analyze HR data, trends, and metrics to provide insights that guide decisions on performance management, retention, and workforce planning.

  • Use data to identify and recommend process improvements that support operational success.

  • Provide guidance on organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning to ensure teams are prepared for growth and future needs.

  • Partner with leaders to align workforce capabilities with business objectives.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations and mitigating organizational risk.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and support consistent application of policies.

  • Coach and develop leaders on people management, fostering leadership capabilities and continuous growth aligned with organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify training and development needs and support the evaluation and implementation of training programs.

  • Support change management initiatives, helping leaders manage transitions and embedding a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.

  • Provide input on internal promotions, transfers, and talent development initiatives, and support onboarding for new leaders to ensure alignment with organizational values.

  • Consult with leaders on strategies to improve employee engagement, morale, productivity, and build an inclusive, high-performance culture.



Requirements


  • Bachelor s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Five or more years of experience in human resources as a consultant or generalist, with a focus on resolving complex employee relations issues.

  • Senior/Professional in Human Resources (SPHR/PHR) or SHRM Senior/Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP) certification preferred.

  • Proven experience partnering with leadership to design and execute HR strategies that support business goals.

  • Strong background in employee relations, investigations, and risk mitigation.

  • Demonstrated ability to use HR data and metrics to influence decisions and drive improvements.

  • Experience in organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning.

  • Skilled in coaching leaders and supporting change management and cultural initiatives.



Skill


  • Strong consulting and advisory skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels.

  • Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and drive initiatives to completion.
