HR Business Partner


Job Summary


The HR Business Partner is a strategic and hands-on role that provides consultative support to leaders and employees within assigned business groups. This position ensures alignment between HR programs, policies, business objectives, and workplace culture to support organizational goals. The role builds and maintains best-practice HR frameworks, partners across HR functions, and uses strong business literacy to drive effective change management and support achievement of corporate strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, including organizational design, talent management, and employee development.
  • Analyze HR data, trends, and metrics to provide insights for decisions related to performance management, retention, and workforce planning, and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide guidance on organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning to ensure workforce capabilities align with current and future business needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough investigations and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and consistent policy application.
  • Offer coaching and development support to leaders, strengthening people management capabilities and fostering leadership growth.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify training and development needs, and support the evaluation, selection, and implementation of training programs aligned with business outcomes.
  • Support and consult on change management initiatives, helping leaders manage transitions and embed a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
  • Provide input on internal promotions, transfers, and talent development initiatives, and assist with onboarding new leaders to ensure alignment with organizational values.
  • Consult with leaders on strategies to improve employee engagement, morale, productivity, and to foster an inclusive, high-performance culture that supports retention and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in human resources as a consultant or generalist, with a focus on resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively to key business partners.
  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, ordinances, and internal policies.
  • Ability to develop a thorough understanding of the organization s structure, roles, qualifications, compensation practices, and related administrative processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to build effective partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and use discretion.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Accountable, punctual, and able to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to adapt effectively to changing needs and priorities.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional and business partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Summary Qualification
  • Bachelor s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a consulting or generalist capacity.
  • Proven experience managing complex employee relations and organizational change.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders on strategic HR initiatives.
