Position Overview
We are seeking a temporary HR Specialist to support the HRIS division with daily clerical and transactional tasks due to a recent vacancy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support to the HRIS division, including developing correspondence, spreadsheets, and tracking documents.
2. Process new hires, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, returns to work, terminations, and retirements within the HR system.
3. Serve as the frontline contact for the HRIS team.
4. Offer recommendations based on knowledge of departmental objectives and activities.
5. Collaborate with user departments to request or provide services.
6. Process necessary paperwork and forms related to services.
7. Independently respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and department personnel using specialized knowledge.
8. Monitor office processes and activities; process personnel and payroll transactions requiring review.
9. Organize and maintain files, correspondence, reports, and forms.
10. Proofread and check materials for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies and regulations.
11. Input information into an online computer system and operate standard office equipment.
