Learning Professional II


Job Summary


Assess, design, deliver, and improve employee learning and development programs, including new hire orientation, career coaching, and career pathing. Support research, content development, program evaluation, and learning delivery to enhance individual and team performance.

Responsibilities
  • Design, facilitate, and maintain onboarding and learning path sessions and content across virtual, in-person, and learning management system formats.
  • Coordinate communications, scheduling, logistics, feedback evaluation, and employee support for onboarding and development programs.
  • Develop and deliver effective onboarding experiences for new employees.
  • Facilitate interactive workshops and training sessions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of instructional best practices for in-person, virtual, and on-demand learning.
  • Evaluate training needs related to succession planning and help develop solutions to address those needs.
  • Develop key performance indicators to measure learning program effectiveness and impact.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve training programs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and department leaders to keep training programs current and relevant.
  • Research learning trends and curate relevant content focused on practical application and accessible learning formats.
  • Evaluate the quality and relevance of externally sourced learning content and services.
  • Provide individual coaching and support to employees as needed.
  • Administer and maintain learning management systems, course authoring tools, and other digital learning platforms.
  • Develop and implement knowledge transfer programs to preserve critical organizational knowledge and expertise.
  • Stay current with best practices in onboarding, career development, and hybrid learning.
  • Collaborate on additional learning and development projects as needed.
  • Generate regular reports and analytics to assess learning initiative effectiveness.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
  • At least three years of experience coordinating and delivering learning and development programs, including onboarding, leadership development, or employee engagement initiatives.
  • At least three years of instructional design and facilitation experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to create job aids and supporting materials that engage, educate, coach, and motivate participants.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective partnerships with management, peers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate technical and business concepts to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to make sound decisions with limited direction and work independently.
  • Proficiency with computers, learning management systems, course authoring tools, and standard office equipment.
