Senior Analyst - Transportation Support


Job Summary

The role supports every function within the Transportation Support department, focusing on monitoring shipments and providing analytical and administrative support. You will work on special projects and tasks to ensure efficient tracking and delivery of shipments.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track shipments, coordinating planning with ocean carriers
  • Act as the liaison for shipments, providing weekly forecasts and addressing shipment issues
  • Ensure timely delivery by coordinating with carriers and customers
  • Track alternative shipments and update customers accordingly
  • Manage shipping records and process vendor invoices
  • Create ad hoc reports and support special projects
  • Submit change requests to enhance the IT system
  • Audit and process both manual and EDI invoices from truck vendors
  • Communicate with carriers to resolve audit holds
  • Troubleshoot invoicing and file transmission issues
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of transportation routes

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation or logistics support
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of shipment monitoring and invoice processing
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently

Skill
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in data reporting and IT systems

Summary Qualification
  • Proven experience in transportation support and logistics
  • Ability to handle special projects and time-sensitive tasks effectively
  • Strong customer service and vendor management skills
