Sr Analyst, HRIS & People Operations
Job Summary
As a Sr Analyst, HRIS & People Operations, you will own HR operations processes and connect them with key HR systems, including the HCM (Dayforce) and a service ticketing system. You will serve as the first line of support and internal subject matter expert for Dayforce, maintaining and enhancing system functionality to support HR and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Act as project manager for implementing components of the HCM (Dayforce) and the service ticketing solutions to meet business goals.
- Execute a full range of HRIS functions, including business process configuration, security administration, report development, system updates, training, and communication.
- Oversee daily administration of Dayforce, ensure best-practice system setup, and manage correction work and related actions to drive consistent practices.
- Identify and test enhancement opportunities for system releases;support and optimize system design, development, and performance;assist with system changes and participate in all aspects of system testing.
- Assist with payroll interface audits, perform bulk data loads using EIBs, and build reports and dashboards.
- Lead the design, documentation, and implementation of HR operations processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and benefits integration.
- Provide support for incoming legal and client audit requests.
- Oversee and support peripheral workforce systems, including recognition platforms, employee engagement platforms, and systems used for onboarding.
- Collaborate with IT and vendor partners to troubleshoot issues, implement updates, and optimize system performance.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business, Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience with global HCM systems, preferably with the full suite of applications.
- Experience with data models, table layouts, and design concepts using SQL for reporting and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of HR reporting and analytics.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills across all organizational levels.
- High attention to detail with the ability to recognize issues and recommend improvements.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
Summary Qualification
- Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Business, Technology, or related).
- Proven experience administering and optimizing global HCM systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in HRIS configuration, reporting, and data analysis.
- Track record of leading HR operations process design and implementation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data integrity focus.
Skill
- HRIS administration and configuration (preferably Dayforce).
- HR reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
- SQL for reporting and data analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
- Project management for system implementations and enhancements.
- Process design for onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management.
- Collaboration with IT and external vendors for system support and optimization.
- Understanding of Dayforce update processes and integration impacts (preferred).
- Knowledge of Dayforce integration tools such as packaged integrations, EIB, document transformation, calculated fields, and report writer (preferred).
