Senior Software Engineer


Job Summary

Design, develop, integrate, and support complex healthcare software solutions. Serve as a technical leader for software architecture, product development, proposals, process improvements, and program objectives. Act as a primary technical authority while collaborating with business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define software requirements and designs.

  • Develop software architecture and code.

  • Integrate software components and systems.

  • Perform certification, testing, verification, and validation.

  • Define product features and technical solutions.

  • Provide customer and production support.

  • Lead migration projects, data mapping, automation initiatives, and system stabilization efforts.

  • Analyze claims and adjudication processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders and work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in software architecture, requirements analysis, design, and coding for healthcare products.

  • At least 10 years of software development experience, including platform integrations, connectors, and communications.

  • Experience with healthcare payer systems and processes, including claims, billing, enrollment, and care management.

  • Hands-on experience with QNXT, including claims or adjudication modules and customized add-ins.

  • Experience with data migration, mapping, automation, and system integration projects.

  • Knowledge of healthcare EDI.

  • Bachelor s degree preferred.

  • SQL Server and T-SQL

  • C# and .NET development

  • RESTful APIs

  • SSIS and SSRS

  • Software architecture and development lifecycle methodologies

  • Software configuration and change management

  • Healthcare data, claims, and adjudication processes

  • QNXT administration and customization

  • Healthcare EDI

  • Analytics and data-driven decision-making

  • Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership

  • Creative, proactive, and self-motivated approach to problem-solving

Summary Qualification

  • Senior software development professional with extensive healthcare industry experience.

  • Strong background in C#, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and software architecture.

  • Direct experience with QNXT and healthcare payer operations.

  • Ability to balance business priorities, technical capacity, and delivery objectives.

  • Skilled at collaborating across teams and communicating complex technical concepts clearly.
